Every quotation clearly lists what is included. A standard transport quote normally covers the agreed collection, loading, transport, basic protection inside the vehicle, delivery and unloading. Packing, materials, dismantling, storage, customs services and specialist handling are shown separately when required. If the inventory, access or requested service changes, we discuss any price adjustment before carrying out additional work.

Timing depends on the destination and service. Dedicated European moves normally travel more directly, while shared loads require a wider window so several shipments can be coordinated. Overseas moves and non-EU routes take longer because of shipping and customs. Book as early as possible, especially during summer, month-end and holiday periods. Short-notice moves may still be possible when a suitable vehicle or route is available. Your quotation will show the estimated schedule and any agreed guarantees.

Yes. You can book full packing, fragile-item packing or packing materials only. Furniture dismantling and reassembly can also be included when requested. If you pack yourself, use strong boxes, fill empty space, protect fragile items carefully and label every box with its contents and destination room.

Yes. Small moves, student moves, boxes and individual furniture items can often travel as a shared part load. Send the quantity, dimensions, photographs and collection and delivery postcodes so we can check the next suitable route.

Personal belongings in free circulation normally move between EU countries without import customs clearance. Moves to Great Britain, Norway, Switzerland and other non-EU destinations require customs documents. People transferring their main residence to Great Britain may be eligible for Transfer of Residence relief. Moves from the EU to Northern Ireland follow different rules, which we confirm for the specific route. We explain the documents required and coordinate clearance with the relevant partners; the customer remains responsible for providing complete and accurate information.

Your written quotation shows the applicable VAT treatment and the final amount payable. For a private intra-EU move beginning in Lithuania, Lithuanian VAT normally applies. Eligible services supplied to a VAT-registered business in another EU country may be invoiced under the reverse-charge procedure after the business and VAT details are verified. Other routes can be treated differently, so VAT is always confirmed before invoicing.

Do not pack fuels, gas cylinders, fireworks, explosives or other flammable and dangerous materials. Cash, jewellery and original identity documents should travel with you. Alcohol, food, plants, medicines, batteries, weapons and other restricted items depend on the destination and transport method, so declare them before booking. We will confirm what can be accepted on your route.

The applicable transport protection, liability limits and claims procedure are confirmed in your quotation or contract because they can vary by service and route. Tell us about artwork, electronics, antiques and other high-value items before booking so we can confirm packing requirements and any additional insurance options. At delivery, inspect the shipment, record visible concerns on the delivery document, take photographs and report any hidden damage immediately within the contractual deadline.

Yes. Storage can be arranged when your collection and delivery dates do not match or your new property is not ready. Availability, handling, minimum periods and storage charges are confirmed in the quotation.

Yes. We arrange office, embassy and employee relocations, as well as gym equipment, safes, heavy furniture and other difficult items. Send the dimensions, estimated weight and photographs, together with details of lifts, stairs, doors and parking. Extra crew or specialist equipment may be required and will be included in the quotation.

For some international and overseas routes, we work with established transport, customs and destination partners. Jonlu Group coordinates the move and confirms the planned handovers, schedule and responsible parties before collection, so you know how the service will be organised.
